Galen, one of my triathlete training buddies, and I volunteered to work the Florida Ironman this year so we would be able to sign up for it in 2012.  There were many other people who had the same idea.

Yes, that is a long line of volunteers wanting in line an hour early just to sign up for the Ironman next Nov.
