USANA Associates across the world started their New Year off right by hitting their RESET™ button last week. And it was a huge success! RESET Week saw Associates supporting each other as everyone pushed to start the year off with the first—and most important—step toward achieving those New Year’s resolutions.

Besides the support of friends and family, RESET Week participants were also able to follow great advice from USANA fan and fitness expert Kathy Kaehler* on the What’s Up USANA? blog. It’s amazing to have someone like Kathy on the USANA team. In case you missed out, here are some of her fitness tips.

  • 1. Make it a priority to exercise in the morning.
  • 2.
Make exercise possible by keeping your workout clothes and shoes close by.
  • 3.
Doing short bouts of a variety of activities will always add up at the end of the day. Do not discount the benefits of taking the stairs, carrying grocery bags, walking around the block, doing ten pushups, walking a dog, or completing any other mini workout that you can put into your day.
  • 4. Put your exercise in a planner or calendar. Keeping your workouts like an appointment will help you stick to your program.
  • 5. Never give up. Every day is a new day.

RESET Week may be over, but that doesn’t mean your journey to find the new you is over. Keep your focus on maintaining that momentum you built up. And if you haven’t hit your personal RESET button, it’s still a great time to get your friends and family together for a RESET party or weight-loss challenge—a little friendly competition can provide some extra incentive.

So stock up on your favorite USANA Foods to stay on track with your new, healthy habits or go get your RESET Kits, find out more about throwing a RESET party, and use Kathy Kaehler’s advice to start making 2010 the year of the new you.
